Yesterday was fun at the beamfest! I get to see lots of new pdas that aren't in the market yet like the ipaq 2210 and also the new Tungsten C. I bought a 2100mah rechargable niMH battery pack for less than RM100. Then, my parents and i went to T.G.I Fridays for dinner. It was my first time eating there. I ordered a Jack Daniel's Chicken something......i forgot X.x....its 2 chicken breasts marinated with the special Jack Daniel sauce, served with butter rice, a slice of pinapple and salad. We also had chicken salad and buffalo wings. After that, we went to the movies to watch Finding Nemo. This afternoon, i went for a family lunch gathering and then fetched my friend to my house to play some games.

Hi all, you must be wondering why i haven't update my LJ for such a long time. Well, i was too busy being the webmaster for the school's leo club website. Besides, last year was the PMR year, one of the big examinations X.x. So, i was busy most of the time. I also joined a new forum called mypdacafe. Its a forum for all Malaysian pda users to get together. I overposted until i forgotten about LJ...lol. I bought another pda but planned to sell it because i wanna upgrade my phone.

....I forgotten to update it yesterday @_@, stupid me. Anyway, I don't have much to update. Expect more to come tomorrow. Yesterday's test was Maths and KHB, no big deal. Today, there were 3 subjects, Geography, History and Science. History was a paint in the butt. I...like.....can't get along well with this subject and normally get a B for it, rarely an A. I'm bringing my camera to school tomorrow since its the last test day. After tomorrow, its a week's holiday before going back to school, preparing for the big exam in October. I will be working on fluke's gift this weekend. Oh, I also haven't mention that I have discovered the marvels of DVDx (a free software). I just discovered this yesterday, SHHH!! Don't tell anyone! LOL. It seems possible to turn DVD movies into AVIs or even MPEGS. Good news for me, cuz now, I can produce DVD quality avi Balto 2 clips for others. Yet, the file size will be small, thanks to DIVX ;). Now, I'm busy trying some good image editing softwares for Pocket PCs. I currently like Photogenics the best. (there's a PC version of it which is more complex and better. Download the demo at http://www.idruna.com/products.html )

Lol, I have no better subject to write! Ok, Tuesday was Moral and English composition test. The moral paper had a bit of problem at the crossword section. There's a section for us students to fill in the answers. It seems to have 2 extra squares on one word that confused everybody . At least it all turned out well, I finished my paper without a single blank. Back at home, the CD-ROM was still nuts. It kept ejecting out even when its reading something, very frustrating.
note : no pics because of the test, mom says that I can't bring my camera

trials.... [Sep. 2nd, 2002|09:48 pm]

Today's was Malay (composition test). X_X It was ok. Sis just returned her violin to the shop. I followed her. I saw this shop called the Orange Shop. They were selling everything for RM 4.99 there, including some cups with doggy pics ^_^. Sadly, I had not enough money with me, or I would have bought that Siberian Husky cup. Back at home , it was the usual weekday life. I did have some posting glitches today, not to mention POP mail problem. First of all, my lousy connection made me accidently double post at TIB. Next, my family's POP account's server changed its address. We did as instructed but it didn't work. Then, I found out that the SMTP address was wrong and repaired the problem. I'm planning to get StreamyX (broadband connection) soon. Think about it, 384k, its like the Lotus in the modem world (but nothing beats the T3 connection ;) ) I'm going to bed now, g'night.

Ugh....another week few past and Sunday is here. When I woke up, it was straight to the comp. I chat at TBL today, but it seems that not many members show up. I didn't even see silver @_@, I wanted to give her the award I made for her site. After lunch, its study time. You see, there's a test tomorrow. Some trial test before we sit for the BIG exam called PMR (.....P...something....Menengah Rendah). Its the most important of the year. Things didn't happen much today. I did goto the night market to try find CW's shirt again.....and guess what? I didn't find it again >.<. We can't stay there for long because mom, dad and sis had to attend a show held at Bangsar Actor's Studio. I did get a picture of the scene at the night market . It was around 7.00pm when we were there. Back at home, alone, I spent 2 hours drawing an anthro me , a full body picture. Considered as a non-artistic person and one who hates Art (theory), I was pleased as I didn't expected I could draw this well. *Yawn* I better goto bed, have to wake up early tomorrow for the trials.

Malaysia's Independence Day [Aug. 31st, 2002|10:28 pm]

[music |Endless Waltz - Endless Love]

Today is Malaysia's 45th Independence Day, and you know what that means, holiday!! LOL....Ok. So, I woke up at around 7.30am. Dad just went out to eat breakfast. When he came back, my sister and my mom woke up, while I am busy at the computer ( I do this every Sat and Sun morning...wake up, pee, drink water and internet! ). Dad, on the other hand, was watching the Hari Merdeka Parade ( Hari Merdeka is independence day in Malay). So, we decided to take a morning walk at the park not far away from home. Mom didn't follow us because she wanted to complete the forgotten chore, that is washing the toilet. So, that leaves the three of us. 9.30am, back from the park and breakfast ( except for dad, who asked him to eat that early? :P ) . A quick bath and we left the house to Mid Valley Megamall. It has been said that Mid Valley Megamall is the biggest mall in Malaysia. At the lower ground floor , we first went to CarreFour (supermarket). Mommy bought stuff for my sister to bring back to UK. Me? Duh! I was busy looking for a tiger shirt for CW. I ran around the supermarket but to my disbelieve, not even a single pictured T-shirt @_@.

After having our stuff paid, we saw thisKorean and Japanese Food Fair . While waiting for dad to put the groceries away, we took a glance at these mee products. There were even some instant noodle samples to eat. Mom aways said " Don't eat them too often or your hair will drop off!". We then had lunch. Dad suggested having our lunch at the hotel (linked to the mall). He said that they were having a promotion on the buffet. To our disappointment, then promotion was over. Dispite that, I did take some pictures of the independence day emblem and the national flag . We went back to the mall and came to a restaurant called Esquire Kitchen. My, was it packed in there! Lucky for us, we manage to find a table for 4. We ordered Man Tous ( a type of plain bun that goes well with the dishes), fried vegetables, fried wan tan with sweet and sour dip , Zha Choi with minced pork ( zha choi is a type of vege soaked in chilli ), and the Kai Ding ( Paprika chicken). I ate like a hungry wolf :P (as I was hungry). Everybody praised and said that the fried wan tan was good while the paprika chicken was better. Those are some pros, but here's the con. The only con was the zha choi. It was too salty (ecker).
After lunch, its the quest for CW's tiger shirt. Sadly, all my attempts failed. I walked the whole shopping complex and didn't even find a tiger shirt X_X. Being disappointed, we went back home. Dad and sister were happy cuz they got a new pair of shoes.

7.00 pm, my sister went for a dinner with her friend. The rest of us had an exclusive dinner at the restaurant that had the best steaks in town, The Ship. I ate fresh, fried Australian scallops, mom ate some fried fish and chips ( the fish was a local one, not imported. So, its cheap) while dad shared his salad with mom. We had a great dinner there. Then, off I go again in search of CW's tiger shirt at another shopping complex called Atria. Again, I failed. I was totally bummed out and pooped walking all over to find it. In another sense, I was totally disappointed that shopping complexs here don't sell them. I guess i'll have to rely on the night markets at Chow Kit Road ;)
